17 Years

17 years ago this week I moved to Salt Lake City. Now, here I am, just ending my third week at work downtown Salt Lake. I started here working at a window manufacturing company in 1997. It is only when I think of my role now that I realize how far I have come.

And I am not alone. SLC has changed in the last 17 years too. I did not grow up here, but have committed to raise my kids here, near friends and family. So far we are off to a good start. I hope such luck and blessings continue.

Full Circle

So here we are, a new city, a new home. After two years in California, we have moved again, re-registered our cars, sold and bought another home (again, timing the market better than we could have hoped), and we are now living where it all began. My wife and I met here ten years ago this fall and we are now back with three beautiful daughters and some gray hair. Things are good; things are busy; some things come full circle.
