I just wrote the following in my personal journal as the final paragraph of a long entry:

“Tomorrow marks 15 years since I entered thr MTC in Provo to prepare for Japan. I had just left Utah, did not know what the future held for me and had my whole life ahead of me. I was 19. Now, I’m 34. I have three kids. I have a career and two degrees, a hard-working wife of 9 plus years and I’m back in Salt Lake. The city has changed since 1997-1998 when I was here; so have I. The future has always been bright. The blessings have come. I could not be more grateful.”
